This page lists every kind of entry the Audit Log records. You meet the entries in the sidebar under Audit Log, on the audit log tab of a person, a key, an access point, a space or a depot, and in the exported file. How to filter, search and export is on Show who had access and when.
Also called: audit trail, log, activity log, events.
Every entry has a category, an activity type, an actor and a target, often with a related record as well. In the list, the category and the activity type appear under Category and Action Type as words in your language. The filter offers the same words under Activity Type. On an entry's Details tab and in the exported file, the category, activity type, actor and target appear as codes, for example ADMINISTRATIVE and CREATE. The tables give both.

The following entries are not offered under Activity Type. Under Action Type they show Recorded. You find them by typing their code into the search box.

The target is the record the entry is about. On the Details tab, its code appears under Target Type, and a second record involved under Related Objects Type.

A return has no entry of its own. If the copy goes into a depot, the depot shows an entry Linked. When who returned a copy is shown on the key's page under Held before.
Sign-ins and sign-outs are not in the Audit Log.
Opening an access point is recorded as Viewed. The list shows these entries only when you choose Viewed under Activity Type.
Single answers in a review are not entries. Submitting the answers is one.
Ticking single copies while counting a depot is not an entry. Starting and finishing the count are.
Door openings and events from connected systems are not in the Audit Log.
