portierX runs in any browser, phones and tablets included, for every role. Add portierX to the home screen and it opens with its own icon in a window of its own, without the browser's address bar.
Also called: app, mobile app, mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, Android, home screen.
Install portierX on an Android device
Open portierX in Chrome and sign in.
Open Chrome's menu and choose the item that installs the page or adds it to the home screen.
Confirm. The portierX icon appears on the home screen.
Add portierX to an iPhone or iPad
Open portierX in Safari.
Tap Share and choose the item that adds the page to the Home Screen.
Confirm. The portierX icon appears on the Home Screen.
On a computer, Chrome and Edge offer the same install in their menu.
What happens next
A tap on the icon opens portierX in a window of its own on your start page, usually the dashboard.
Signing in is the same as in the browser, see Sign in and reset your password.
portierX loads from portier's servers every time it opens. There is nothing to update; you always work with the latest version.
How portierX looks on a small screen
Below 768 pixels wide, which covers most phones, the sidebar is hidden. The sidebar button in the header opens it as a panel, and a tap on an entry closes it again.
Wide tables keep their columns and scroll sideways inside their frame.
Dialogs use the full width of the screen, with their buttons one under the other.
Side panels take three quarters of the screen's width.
Rules
portierX needs an internet connection. Nothing is stored on the device for working offline.
On a phone, the same role and the same rights apply as on a computer, see What your role lets you see and do.
You work either in the browser or in the window from the home screen. Both are the same portierX.
