Which key reminders portierX emails to you is your own choice, unless your organisation requires them. Every role makes it on the Account page: click your name at the end of the sidebar, then Account.
Also called: my profile, notifications, email settings, unsubscribe from reminders.
Click your name at the end of the sidebar, then Account. The Account page opens.
As Organisation Admin, click the Notifications tab. In every other role, the reminders show on the page straight away.
Find the group that says why you get the email, and in it the row for when it goes, for example On the end date.
Switch the row off, or back on. portierX saves at once and confirms with Saved. portierX will not email you this one. or Saved. portierX will email you this one again.
Each group names one reason you get emails. Only the groups that apply to you appear.
Group | Emails about | Can be switched off |
|---|---|---|
As a key holder | Keys you hold | Yes, unless your organisation requires them |
As the person who handed keys out | Keys you handed out | Yes, unless your organisation requires them |
As an approver | Keys you said yes to, named in the group | Yes, unless your organisation requires them |
As Responsible person of and the place | A key to that place that is not back after its end date | No |
Because you have the and your role | Emails to everyone with that role when a key is not back, or an Interflex request was not activated after approval | No |
The first three groups have three rows each: some days before the end date, On the end date, and some days after the end date. Your organisation sets the number of days. Each row says what applies to it:
Locked because your organisation requires it. You get this email in any case.
Locked. Nobody can switch this email off. This applies to the emails to a place's Responsible person and to a role.
Switched off by you, or Switched back on by you, with the date of your change.
portierX stops sending you an email you switched off. The row shows when you switched it off.
If your organisation requires an email later, it comes again whatever you chose, and the row is locked.
Every email is on until you switch it off.
Which emails nobody can switch off, and on which days they go out, is set by the Organisation Admin, see Set when reminder emails go out and who gets them.
The email saying a key was reported lost is not in the list and always goes out.
Your choice applies in the organisation you are working in. In another organisation you choose again.
The choice belongs to your sign-in. Someone without a portierX sign-in gets the reminders as the organisation sets them.
When no group applies to you, the page shows Nothing is sent to you.
How return dates and reminders fit together is on Return dates, reminders and overdue keys. Every email portierX sends is on Emails portierX sends.
You set your default organisation on the Profile page, see Work in several organisations with one login.
portierX shows its pages in the language your browser prefers: German, English, French or Dutch. For any other language it shows English. To use another of these languages, set it as the preferred language in your browser and open portierX again.
An Organisation Admin can also choose between English and Deutsch under Settings, Appearance. That choice applies in the browser where it is made.
