Which master key systems portierX imports

portierX reads master key plans from ABUS, CES, DOM, dormakaba, EVVA, KESO ASSA ABLOY, WILKA and WINKHAUS as an XML file in portier's format, and any other master key system through the portierX XML tile.

portierX reads the key plan of a mechanical master key system from an XML file in portier's format. Each supported manufacturer has a tile under Integrations, on the Available tab, in the category Master Key Systems. Importing needs the Organisation Admin role.

Also called: locking plan import, key plan import, XML import.

The manufacturers and their tiles

Nine tiles read the same file. When you upload it, portierX reads the manufacturer the file names. The second column shows which manufacturer names in the file belong to which tile. Upper and lower case make no difference.

A master key system without a tile of its own

The portierX XML tile takes the key plan of any manufacturer. It reads the same file as the manufacturer tiles, and the import runs the same way. Pick this tile when your manufacturer is not in the table.

How to get the file

Your locksmith or the manufacturer exports the key plan from their planning software as an XML file in portier's format. One file describes exactly one master key system. With several systems, you get one file per system and set up one connection per system. What the file must contain, and how the import runs step by step, is in Import your master key plan from an XML file.

When the file and the tile do not match

If the file names a manufacturer that the table places under a different tile, the Uploaded File Doesn't Match the Integration dialog opens. It shows the tile you picked beside the one that fits. Create Integration sets the connection up under the manufacturer the file names.

If the file names a manufacturer that is not in the table, the import carries on under the tile you picked. Through the portierX XML tile this dialog never appears.

Rules

  • Importing needs the Organisation Admin role.

  • The table above is the complete list of manufacturer tiles for key plans.

  • All nine tiles read the same portier XML format. portierX reads no other file format as a key plan.

  • One file describes one master key system, and a master key system belongs to exactly one connection.

  • portierX writes nothing back to the file or to the planning software.
